You can walk onto the banks of the Thames which have historical sites, including the Golden Hind ship, Jack the Ripper tours, and the oldest bar in London. If you like eating, drinking, ships, old stuff, and Dateline, this is the place for you. Also in that area is Vinopolis wine tasting venue, and nearby is the Shard.
Richmond - in west London, it’s about 40 minutes on the tube from the Ned. Richmond has the biggest park in the whole of London, and is the only one with wild deer. If you’re feeling energetic you could hire a bike, or a rowing boat. If not, the bars along the riverbank are really good too. If you go make sure you walk up the hill to the Park. The views down the river are special.
The O2 - it’s the London equivalent of Madison Square Gardens, but is essentially a humongous tent. Lots of music and sports events here. This has the Greenwich Royal Observatory, the Cutty Sark, and the Queens House.
