American Airlines has two flights per day to Freeport and there are smaller airlines that have others flights (e.g.. Bahamas Air). You can also fly from NY to Nassau and then Nassau into Freeport, or there is a ferry, Baleària, that leaves from Fort Lauderdale twice a week. Swimming is also an option if you prefer.
