Welcome to our wedding portal! Since being engaged, many people have asked how it all began. So, here is our story! It all started on July 16th, 2022, at Salt Seafood and Oyster Bar in New Brunswick, NJ. Before meeting in person, we had already spent time getting to know each other discussing the most important topics, such as the significance of the show "Stranger Things," our obsession as "foodies," and our personal and professional goals. Our excitement getting to know each other kept building and we decided to take a leap of faith and go on our first date on the 16th. Little did we know that this simple leap of faith was the beginning of our lives changing forever. After such an easy date of laughing, venting and attempting to look attractive while eating oysters for the first time together, we decided to continue pursuing one another. And there, began Ilija and Susann's love story! Over the next two and half years, our bond grew stronger. We supported each other through everything from completing our studies, to advancing our career goals and even a huge milestone, by deciding to purchase a home together. Through it all, we were able to build the happiest memories and the best experiences leaning on one another. Life brought challenges over the years, but we faced them side my side, learning, growing and building amazing memories along the way. Through every moment - whether joyful or difficult....one thing always remained constant: our love, trust and devotion to one another. Then, on December 22nd of 2024 and unexpectedly one of the coldest days of the year, Ilija planned a surprise that would change our lives forever. He took Susann to Central Park, NYC under the pretense of seeing a tree light showing. Much to her surprise, what was intended to be a night filled with holiday festivities, turned into one of the biggest celebrations of our lives, as Ilija guided Susann to a beautiful gazebo overlooking Central Park, where he got down on one knee, in an attempt to be the same height as Susann, and popped the question! Not only a surprise for Susann to finally see Ilija at eye level, but also the most beautiful surprise that turned into the start of a new chapter in our lives! Now, here we are in 2025, planning our wedding on October 12th! This journey has been filled with unforgettable moments! We are elated to be celebrating our day with our friends and family and are looking forward to creating even more beautiful memories as Mr. and Mrs.........
