When do I need to RSVP by?

All RSVP's must be received by July 1st.

What time is the wedding, and when should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm, so please make sure to be seated by then, preferably at least 15 minutes in advance. The reception will end at 9 pm.

Is the wedding at The Woolen Mill or The Silk Mill?

Great question! These two venues are owned by the same family, and while they’re next door to each other, they’re still completely separate! We are at The Woolen Mill, so please be sure to follow signs for the correct location.

What is the venue's address?

Our venue, The Woolen Mill, is located at 203 Ford Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot at the venue. Guests should not need to park elsewhere, unless they prefer to.

Will any part of the wedding take place outside?

Answer

We don't want our guests sweltering in the August heat! Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors, with only the cocktail hour taking place outside (weather permitting). However, guests are welcome to congregate inside during cocktail hour as well.

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a great question and always a little tricky to answer! The attire for our wedding is formal, which can mean a few things. If you're not sure how to dress, for the gentlemen, we recommend a suit and tie (or bow tie!), and if you're feeling extra fancy, you can dress up your outfit with cufflinks or a pocket square, if you choose. For the ladies, it's a bit more open ended, and we suggest anything from a long formal dress, to a fancy cocktail dress, to an elegant jumpsuit. And of course feel free to accessorize with your favorite jewelry! For the kids, feel free to dress them in whatever they’re comfortable in.

Do I get a plus one?

Unless you were given the option to RSVP with a plus one, we cannot accommodate any plus ones at this time.

What does the kid’s meal consist of?

Answer

The kid’s meal is intended for any children who don’t want the Italian themed dinner. It will be chicken nuggets, french fries, and fruit.
