We're Getting Married!

Jonathan and Susie met at Harding University's Honors Symposium, they ended up playing cards with a group of friends for hours one night and got to know each other. Next thing they know they are partners for everything and ended up staying connected after it ended. 1 week later Jonathan asked if Susie would date him- and the rest is history!

When I knew I wanted to propose, I knew I wanted both families to be there to celebrate this new chapter of our lives. I chose Harding’s Homecoming weekend, the perfect time for everyone to be together. I took some time clearing a path to the “secret garden” on some family property, and that’s where I got on one knee. I told Susie it was a photo shoot so that it wouldn’t be strange to get dressed up. We walked down the path and it led to a tree where I asked her to marry me. -Jonathan
