Paul and Susanna met running along the Riverwalk! It is great for walking, running, biking and skooting. You may end up running right by the wedding venue!
Awesome for site-seers and WWII enthusiasts! The amphibious vehicle drives you around Chattanooga's downtown, then drives right into the Tennessee River! As you float up river, you will get a priceless view of the Hunter Museum (wedding venue) from the river. Fun Fact: There is a good chance they will talk about the bride and her bridesmaid on the tour!
The Bride and Groom swim in the Tennessee River frequently! Check out the critters that swim alongside us! You may even catch a glimpse of our home, which you can see from inside the aquarium.
The Chattanooga Choo Choo has recently undergone a large makeover, but it holds much of Chattanooga's and the happy couple's history! The Choo Choo complex to some of our favorite eateries and date-night locations! Consider checking out: STIR (cutest bar in town) Nic & Norman's (a must for any Walking Dead fans) Comedy Catch & Backstage Bar (for comedy and music lovers) Reagan's Discotheque / Westbound Honkytonk (if you wish to dance the night away) Elsie's Daughter (upscale dining)
Paul and Susanna love hiking! It is one of the best ways to take in the Scenic City! There are a lot of places to hike for varying skill levels, but please plan accordingly! Some of the Bride and Groom's favorites include (even though Paul is afraid of heights!): Sunset Rock: One of the best sunsets in town! Be sure to pack a flashlight; its dark up there once the sun goes down! Signal Point: If you ever visited Gammy (Susanna's maternal grandmother), you will recognize the area! Raccoon Mountain: This is the couple's favorite place to train for triathlons! Stringers Ridge: The closest hike to the festivities!
