They're a package deal, and Evan had no idea he was getting a BOGO when he proposed. The jury's still out on who makes the deal better. And if anyone wants in on the deal, Emily is available! Susanna can personally attest she's a real catch. Five stars, highly recommend.

Marie and Susanna met at Radiant Church in 2015, quickly became inseparable, and eventually moved in together. Then Daniel came along and VERY strategically started inviting Susanna to things to get in good with Marie. His plan worked… he got the girl, and Susanna lost another roommate to marriage.

Callie and Susanna met at Radiant Church in 2018 after Callie’s mom asked Susanna to help her get connected. After a few awkward, arranged friend dates, they actually liked each other and became best friends. They lived together for a few years, and Susanna takes FULL credit for setting Callie up with Wyatt. Yet another roommate lost to marriage.

Allie and Susanna go WAY back to high school… when Allie dated Susanna’s brother, David. They were definitely not a fit, but thankfully Allie and Susanna were. Over a decade later, they’ve gone from Panhandle mischief to Tampa mischief and are still way too much alike. Now Sterling and Evan are just thankful they have each other to hang out with.
Karyssa Deese

Karyssa and Jordan moved to Tampa five years ago to work at Radiant, and Susanna was assigned to be their first friend. After a few forced hangs, she took the assignment WAY too seriously.. joining their family, eating their food multiple nights a week, and even being in the room for the birth of their second baby. Susanna is basically the bonus sister Karyssa needed… and Jordan never asked for.

Evan and Carter met in high school when Evan had just moved to North Carolina and Carter was the big-shot golfer in town. Naturally, Carter decided to welcome Evan by becoming his first bully in North Carolina. But after one season on the golf team together, they went from rivals to best friends. Turns out a little bullying was just Carter’s way of saying, “Welcome to North Carolina, let’s be friends!”

Tim was always Evan’s cool older cousin... the one who was 6’8”, touring the University of Florida for sports, and basically living the life Evan wished he had. But after college, the two became great friends, and in a surprising turn of events, Evan became Tim’s golf coach. Turns out the golf kid who wasn’t so cool back in the day ended up being the cool cousin after all.
Teddy Bonner

Evan and Teddy met in 2012, at the beginning of their junior year of high school, when Evan was touring Montverde Academy for an overnight orientation. The two met at the ping-pong table, and the rest is history. Over a decade later, they’re still battling it out and have been best friends ever since. Teddy is also one of Evan’s golf students… so apparently Evan gets to be the coach on the course, but they’re still fighting for the title of ping-pong champion.
Miller Harbin

Evan is still unsure how he and Miller actually met. They both played golf at North Greenville, but Miller came in the year AFTER Evan graduated. Shoutout to whoever introduced them, because they’ve been best friends ever since! Their friendship is so solid that they even raised a baby squirrel together. Not everyone can say they’ve successfully co-parented a squirrel, but these two can.
Matthew Campbell

Evan and Matthew met at North Greenville, where they were both members of the golf team. They quickly bonded over fishing and video games and even decided to be roommates for a year. To this day, Matthew gives Evan fishing lessons, and Evan gives Matthew golf lessons. Neither has quite mastered the other’s sport, but at least they’ve got a lifelong friendship out of it!
Alex Parker

ALEX Much like half of the groom’s party, Alex and Evan met on the North Greenville golf team. After college, they were both golf professionals and roommates for a year, living out in the country with frequent black bear encounters. To this day, they talk sports DAILY and bounce parlay ideas off each other. The jury’s still out on who Evan talks to more… Susanna or Alex.
