Yes, there will be parking available at Thornewood Castle through the gate. Please follow gate instructions and a parking attendant will direct you as you approach the venue entrance. Please consider carpooling to save space!
The ceremony will start at 10:30. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.
Our wedding dress code is formal/semi-formal. Some suggestions are a knee-length to ankle-length dress, or a suit with possible tie is appropriate. Stilettos or other narrow heels as well as floor length or longer dresses may be ill-advised in the grass of the sunken garden area. It will be warm in May with a slight chance of rain, so please above all else be comfortable!
Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration! We have limited space, so if you don’t see children in your RSVP list, please get in touch and we can see what we can do! Lap kids (under 2 years) are always welcome. We are looking into providing a quiet room with possible babysitting services onsite.
Our ceremony will move indoors to the castle’s Great Hall.
Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks after the ceremony. Our venue does not allow liquor, but we will offer wine, beer, champagne, as well as some signature drinks and plenty of nonalcoholic beverages.
Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please update us on your current allergies via the reception RSVP.
Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website. Please do not feel obligated to give anything - we are simply glad to have you join us!
To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by March 10 (or now if you can) so we can plan accordingly!
To ensure we can accommodate all our guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Please check back in as RSVPs start coming in, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
