Where is the best place to park?

Answer

There is a large parking garage just southeast that offers long term parking. Alternatively there is a parking lot on the east side of South Park. The majority of parking in Downtown Lawrence is metered parking until 6pm.

What happens if it is raining?

Answer

We are hopeful for a beautiful spring day but as always, the weather is unpredictable in Kansas. If we experience rain at the time of the ceremony, we will move it to Milton's!

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

South Park has sidewalks that lead you to the bandstand where the ceremony will take place. Chairs will be placed in grassy areas. Wedges or flats are a safe bet but if you prefer heels, you should do ok for the short periods in grass.
