We started dating in February of 2022. Depending on who you are, you most likely heard the following version of our story... We met through a friend who attended Grace College where I (Susan) went to college. There are true parts to that statement. Megan has a friend that went to Grace College and I attended Grace College. The truth is a little more laughable than that. Megan and I met when we matched on a dating app that shall not be named. At the time I was still living at home with my family in the middle of nowhere Indiana and Megan was living in Lima, Ohio. Now you may be wondering how on earth did two people, two hours away from each other end up matching? What can I say, as I told a friend jokingly, "Look at me, I'm desperate". For the next two years, we were long distance. I moved to Indy in the fall of 2022. Megan and I took turns driving back and forth, we are both very familiar with best way to get from Lima to Indy. After those two long years of long distance, we moved in together in a tiny one bedroom apartment in Lima. In the fall of 2024, we proposed to each other. Since then, we've gained a cat and made so many memories. We are both very excited to continue to build our life together.
