How We Met: Susan and Medet shared an unforgettable first date on January 13, 2024. What was meant to be a simple evening quickly became something neither of them wanted to end. From that day on, they found themselves inseparable, recognizing God's quiet guidance in the way their paths crossed and their hearts felt at peace from the very beginning. A Love That Grew with Intention: In just one week, on January 20th, 2024, Medet asked Susan to be his girlfriend. Their relationship grew quickly yet prayerfully, shaped by shared faith, values, and genuine friendship. They bonded over trying new foods at restaurants, cooking together, reading, and binging shows and movies. As two only children, they felt especially grateful to find in one another both a best friend and a chosen family. The Beginning of Forever: Six months later after their first date, during a week long trip to Maine in September 2024, Medet took Susan to Acadia National Park. Overlooking one of the most breathtaking views and in the middle of one of their favorite moments from the trip, he asked her to spend forever with him. Trusting God as He continued to strengthen their foundation, they are excited to build a life rooted in faith, love and partnership, surrounded by family and friends who have supported them every step of the way.
