Two become one

We met our sophomore year of college in 2017 when a mutual friend of ours invited Kelton to Susan's apartment and neither had any idea the other existed despite having all mutual friends. From there, our relationship bloomed. We went through some trials and tribulations, as all couples do, but we moved on from college and one year that after took the leap and moved to Wilmington, NC in 2021. We threw ourselves into adulthood and started to really build our lives together. While living down there, we adopted our two children, Mint (cat) and Clover (dog). We ultimately made the decision to move back to Pennsylvania to be closer to family and further our careers in 2024. We talked about marriage numerous times, but decided that now was not the time due to other goals in mind (getting our own house, establishing our lives in PA, etc). Kelton had other ideas in mind and planned the whole proposal to where Susan had no idea. We had a friend vacation in the Outer Banks, NC that had been planned for some time and Kelton (with some help) organized the proposal, the photographer, the dinner, and everything else that went into it. The day started with going to the aquarium and getting lunch. We then went to the beach to get pictures together, but when Susan turned around Kelton was on one knee with her dream ring. It all felt so surreal and truly a dream come true. From there, we have been settling into our lives in PA and planning our wedding that we are so excited for you to be a part of!
