John met Carl while they were both attending school in the Navy. They were in the same Power School class, trained at Prototype in Ballston Spa, NY, and were later stationed together aboard the USS George Washington in Japan. Their shared love for sports and video games sparked a friendship that would become lifelong. Even while living in different parts of the country, they have a strong connection through a group chat with other Navy friends, that probably has close to a million messages by now. John is honored to have Carl by his side during the most important moment of his life.

Maria is Susan's cousin, but they share a bond that's more like that of sisters. Born only a month apart, they have spent their whole lives together. From dance class & slumber parties, to tasting menus & international flights, they've created countless memories. Their relationship has blossomed from carefree, fun-loving little girls who play dress up into strong, adventurous women that have traveled the world together. They know they can always count on each other & are beyond grateful for the relationship they share. Susan cannot imagine having anyone else by her side on her wedding day.
