Matron of Honor
Some would say 'Best Friend', others ask if we are sisters; either way, we have been by each others' sides for the past 25 years. A fellow cat mom and newly 'Mrs" to Joe's fellow Juice Boy, Bob Adams, Sam has been through EVERY.PART.OF.MY.LIFE. I could not imagine everyday without her in it. Sister from another mister.
Co-Best Boy
There is no boy like a co-best boy. Kevin is without a doubt the definition of a good friend. He is loyal, generous, and fun to be around, qualities that are very important when you have very few other friends. Since we began spending time together in Ms. Leaman's 6th grade class, we have had so many fun times together. If Kevin were an object, he would be a coffee table book of 80s Glamour Shots because he's always there for you and because you just can't help but look.
Bridesmaid
There is no town, state, or country that can keep us apart. Christine and I met 15 year ago at the St. Charles Olive Garden, working as hostesses. An incredibly loyal friend, mother, and wife, I am so lucky to have her by my side.
Co-Best Boy
There is no boy like a co-best boy. Greg is an amazing friend with whom I have spent many years hanging out and working out with. Before we met our wives, Greg used to listen to the Eagles and a fun fact is that Greg almost killed us both playing with his iPod while driving his mother's minivan, attempting to find Witchy Woman. If Greg were an object, he would be a package of Toll House cookies because he's soft like cookie dough and gets burned every day.
Bridesmaid
Fate made us desk mates, hearts made us friends. Kaitlin has become one of my closest friends in recent years and I can always count on her to suffer with me while others enjoy cheese and dairy at restaurants (though not at this wedding!). I always look forward to spending time with her and I'm so happy she agreed to be with me on my wedding day.
Groomsman
Adam has been an important figure and friend in my life since Ms. Leaman's class in the 6th grade. When we met, his legs were so long that he always encroached on my space. Since then, we have had some truly amazing times. Whether driving to Los Angeles from Pennsylvania, to Pennsylvania from Los Angeles, or to Los Angeles again from Pennsylvania, those miles will stick with me forever. If Adam were an object, he would be a Christmas Tree because he's one of the few people I know who can pull off the color green, he's tall, and his smile shines so bright.
Bridesmaid
Fate also made us desk mates, and hearts made us friends. Kayla and I sat next to each other at Simeone Deary Design Group and have been friends ever since (we've even lived on the same street). I can count on Kayla for absolutely anything, including (but not limited to) running to pick up a fiddle fig in the wee hours of the morning from a back alley or defending my claim to a table at an antique store! She is a phenomenal aunt to Belle & Gus, and I am so happy to have her by my side.
Groomsman
Bob entered my life like a wrecking ball of male companionship. I had a good thing going for a while, where I had no social obligations and Susan would just run off and spend time with Sam. But in time, I realized Bob is the real deal friend. He happily responds to my texts that read things like "what about the S2000 though?" and we have had so much fun working on projects in his garage. Even though we'll never be as hot as Paul Walker & Vin Diesel, we look 10x as cool when we go for a dude cruise. If Bob were an object he would be a spice rack because he's very organized and lives a full-flavor life.
Groomsman
My brother. I've known Michael as long as I've been alive. In my early years, he prided himself on terrifying me. He's funny (though looks aren't everything) and I am honored to have him by my side on the wedding day. Michael shares my love of knowledge, snacks, and a good video game, and I wish we had more time to play Oblivion together. Michael acknowledges that if I ever even attempted to play Dungeons & Dragons, I would win. If Michael were an object, he would be a deck of cards because he's always ready to play a game (though he would say it's something like "because I always have an ace up my sleeve").
Bridesmaid
Joe's sister, Mother of Flower girl Margaret, married to groomsman Matt Totaro, and most importantly my soon to be sister! We have bonded over our love of animals (she shares Lily when I visit), luxurious spa days (our Christmas tradition), and learning new board games together (that I am terrified to play). I could not be more excited to have her standing next to me!
Groomsman
Matt is one half of my collection of brothers-in-law and someone I look forward to spending time with whenever I can. He remains (tied with Annie) my most frequent visitor to Chicago and I remain his most frequent house guest (tied with Susan). I am so honored to have Matt by my side at my wedding, and am so grateful that he is a member of our family. I am also truly grateful that he has stopped his evil ways and no longer behaves like the man that received a lifetime ban from the Mystic Seaport. If Matt were an object, he would be a Magic 8-Ball because there's no telling what this man knows or what he's willing to share with you.
Bridesmaid
Joe's Sister, mother of flower girls Charlotte, Brooke, and ring bearer James. Married to Jason MacCombie, groomsmen, and most importantly my soon to be sister! I love Alison because she always believes me when I tell her the terrible things Joe does and because she always makes me feel at home in Pennsylvania and has from the moment I met her.
Groomsman
Jason is one half of my collection of brothers-in-law. He is the most tolerant brother I have and (though I'm sure he'd never tell me if he did) never seems to mind that I stay at his house for days on end, frequently coming and going well past peoples' bedtimes. His superpower is being able to sustain an unlimited amount of the Grinch or comparable. Jason gave me one of the greatest jokes of all time: Jeff Gordons. If Jason were an object, he would be a nightlight because he always finds a way to be a light in an otherwise crazy world (e.g. house with 3 small children running around + Alison).
