We're getting married!

Our story began back in high school, thanks to a mutual friend and a Halloween attraction. While we didn’t talk that day, we ended up adding each other on Facebook and began chatting with each other every second of the day. However, life had other plans, and things didn’t quite work out for us. Years later, fate (and maybe Halloween magic) stepped in again. We reconnected and decided to catch up, celebrating Halloween once again. This time, everything felt different—and right. From that night on, we knew this was something special. Since then, we’ve built a life around the little things that makes us the happiest—lazy naps, sharing good food, random arts and crafts, cooking, and watching movies and shows side by side. One of our favorite silly traditions happens whenever something wild goes down on screen- We would turn to each other, start panting like we just ate something ridiculously spicy, and laugh so hard that we can barely pay attention to the rest of the episode. The proposal was just as full of love (and nerves). Erick kept suggesting a trip to the aquarium—one of our very first big dates during the beginning of our relationship . After a few nudges, Susan finally said yes to going. While she drove, Erick sat quietly with the ring safely tucked away, rehearsing what he wanted to say over and over in his head. When the moment finally arrived, he stumbled through his words, teared up, and nervously asked Susan to marry him. Through all the emotion and nerves, she said yes. As we look ahead, we’re most excited about simply doing life together—the big adventures and the small everyday moments. We can’t wait to grow old (and maybe a little cranky) side by side, filling our years with laughter, love, and a million shared memories.
