We set the date!

HOW WE MET...... Cody and I met when he was stationed at Tyndall AFB when I worked as a library aid on base. He came in constantly to check out DVD's of The Office. I remember thinking there was something about him. He was different. After sparse conversations he eventually deployed and I moved to Ohio. THEN CAME LIFE.... In the years between he took the time to experience bachelor hood and I learned the ins and outs of being a mom. We both took followed different paths that God set before us so that when we came back together we would be prepared for each other. RECONNECTING.... I moved home to Florida. As Cody himself was just moving back as well to finish up school. (Gods sense of humor) We spotted each other at a Bdubs and well the rest is history. Things quickly progressed. It was like we had been with each other for years. We fell head over heals ( still very much are) . We had fun catching up on life and one date led to another that led to a relationship. Our lives quickly joined together as a pair. PROPOSAL!!!!!! Cody proposed the day after Valentines Day down on one knee in the pouring rain by the ocean. It will forever be one of my favorite us moments. He words words beautiful and still almost 2 1/2 years later he honors them 100%. Always a man of God. THE NOW.... Over the past several years we have made a big move to Oklahoma together, grown as a couple, grown with God, and grown as parents. We have had many amazing moments. We still have many more to come. Cody and I both look forward to sharing our wedding day with all of our friends and family. Finding your soul mate later in life has gave us both an appreciation for letting ourselves figure out who we were before we found each other again. God has a plan for each of us we are so glad ours included each other.
