Moving from Georgia to Washington in 2016 was one of the hardest, but best decisions of my life. I came here with a blank slate and virtually no connections. It was super important to me to find a new home church, so I began to attend New Life Fellowship and immediately joined a community group to forge friendships and my faith. 4 days after I moved here I went to my first CG meeting, and there was Josh leading our group in worship with his guitar. I quickly connected with everyone over a shared interest in games. Josh deemed me worthy only after I recognized his Dark Souls shirt and expressed my love for the Ace Attorney series. The next day he sent me a not-so-conspicuous email asking to borrow my Ace Attorney games. He also left his phone number. LOOOL We started getting to know each other intentionally through messages and dates. In February 2017 we officially entered a relationship, which later led to our engagement in August 2018! Due to a whole host of reasons out of our control, we've had to delay our wedding this far. With an engagement as long as ours, we're truly grateful for God's protection and grace over our relationship. I'm so thankful for Josh's hard work and love through this engagement period. We cannot tell you how excited we are to *finally* celebrate this moment with you all!
All guests in attendance will be required to wear a mask, unless taking photos outdoors. Even with vaccines and the decrease in cases, we respectfully ask that everyone continues to honor and practice health guidelines of social distancing and proper hand-washing. If anyone is sick, please stay home to recover--we'll understand! Be sure to give us notice if possible. In addition to following the COVID-19 safety guidelines, we also ask that you would join us in praying over the wedding day, that God's favor would be upon the space, free it of any viral traces and ensure a 100% safe celebration. Thank you all ♥
