It's party time!

In light of the COVID-19 situation, we have decided to postpone our wedding reception. The health and safety of our loved ones is a priority, and we want to ensure that everyone can be there to celebrate with us. We will still be married, but on June 20th, 2020 and at our home with our immediate families. We are going to have a livestream Zoom so that everyone can be a part of it, and more information is attached below! The new reception date will be June 20th, 2021 at Waldenwoods. We hope you can join us then for dinner, drinks, and dancing, and then we can finally celebrate with you all! We are so thankful for our loved ones for their patience and support, and for the health and safety of everyone.

Long story short, it was a perfect match when Emily & Josh met at Grosse Pointe North High School and have been sweethearts ever since. Through many choir rehearsals, long summer days at the Lakefront Park, planning for college, and other teenage milestones, they watched each other grow into young adults and realized that this was their forever. As they made their way through their somewhat separate collegiate careers, they were able to discover themselves and realized their dreams and aspirations, individually and as a couple. This only strengthened their relationship and helped them to navigate into adulthood, growing and learning together along the way. From their first month of dating, getting married one day had always been an ongoing conversation between the two. So after 5 years, and on a chilly and drizzling December day, Josh decided to pop the question at Stony Creek Metropark. Despite the weather, it couldn't have been a more perfect engagement - intimate and overlooking the water. After a celebration at the Downtown Rochester Light Festival, the planning quickly began and the wedding day is almost here! Help us celebrate the soon to be Mr. & Mrs.!
