FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kaitlyn Surratt and Christopher Rodriguez
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests dress in semi-formal or dressy-casual attire. Please do not wear the color white.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your kids! However, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event, with the exception of the flower girl and ring bearers. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. The cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors, but outdoor seating will be available for anyone who wants some fresh air!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged ceremony", meaning that no phones or cameras will be allowed during our wedding ceremony. We would like all of our guests to be present in the moment when we say "I do", and have hired professionals to capture this special moment for us. Feel free to take as many photos as you'd like once the ceremony is over!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

If you are able to attend, we are so excited to celebrate with you! Please kindly RSVP to our wedding by Friday, September 4, 2026.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you have received a plus one, they will appear on your invitation and when you RSVP!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony is set to begin at 3:30 in the afternoon. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the start time in order to find parking and be seated. We ask that all guests arrive by 3:20 so you are able to definitely be seated by the start time. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until ceremony is completed.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us! If you plan on drinking, we ask that you arrange proper transportation afterwards. We want everyone to have fun, but get home safely as well.
