Formal wedding attire: Men should wear a dark suit and a tie Women can wear a floor-length gown, a formal mid-length dress Formal wedding attire for children: Boys can wear a suit, or a button-down shirt with dress pants or khakis, often with a vest and a tie or bow tie. We are joyfully welcoming children to our wedding day! To keep our celebration intimate, children are welcome by invitation only and limited to close friends. We love having them be part of the celebration, and there may even be a few little surprises to make the day extra fun for them, too.
