We were introduced by a mutual friend who recruited Jeff as an amateur photographer for a photo shoot. After the shoot, we added each other on social media and started chatting. The rest, as they say, is history!

We were on a family vacation to celebrate Jeff’s recent graduation and his brother and I’s impending graduations coming up that fall. Just before what should have been a “family photo shoot,” Jeff lead me to the beach and set up a picnic in honor of our upcoming 5th dating anniversary. As the sun set and we sipped pineapple champagne, Jeff knelt down and asked me to be his wife! Lo and behold, the photographer captured all of it on camera, including several beautiful shots of us celebrating with Jeff’s family. It was the perfect evening and a fantastic start to our next chapter together! - Maddy After months of planning and designing the ring, our vacation to Hawaii set my plans of bending the knee in motion. While keeping the whole plan a surprise, I planned a lovely surprise picnic with a scenic view of the ocean to pop the question. I secured a photographer well in advance, and on the way out to a “family photo shoot”, I surprised Maddy with the picnic. After spending some wonderful time together, the photographer snuck around and I knew it was time. I made the sign to him, and got on one knee in front of the woman I love most. She said yes!! - Jeff
