WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Emily and Matt met at a mutual friends' house warming party. Emily will say it was love at first sight as she was attracted to Matt from the moment she saw him walk into the party. Matt will say it was love at first sound as he was attracted to Emily when he first heard her voice. Emily found a way to sit next to Matt at the bonfire shortly after he arrived and they instantly hit it off. After a night of getting to know each other, Matt asked Emily to go on their first date and the rest was history.

Emily came home from a long week of traveling for work to find rose petals leading her into their bathroom... yes, you read it correctly, the bathroom. Emily and Matt's bathroom was beach themed and when they were decorating their bathroom Matt had the idea for one of the decorations to be a message in a bottle. Matt rolled up what Emily thought was a blank piece of paper into a cute glass bottle with a cork top which was part of their bathroom decoration for over two years. The rose pedals were leading to a sticky note near the bottle telling Emily to take the note out. Emily, still very confused, took the message out and began reading the following: "Dear Emily, I am writing you this on 4/18/2017, although it is early in our relationship I know you are the person that I am meant to share the rest of my life with" .... more mushy stuff... with the end asking the big question, "Emily Anne Skinner, will you marry me?" By this point Matt had already come out of hiding, got down on one knee and held out the ring, with tears in her eyes Emily said yes!
