Samantha and Brian met in Albany, NY in the fall of 2022. Their common interests in all things involving nerdy pop culture allowed them to instantly hit it off - especially all things Marvel comics related! Brian immediately understood Samantha’s love of Christmas - taking her to all the cool local Christmas destinations & events that she hadn’t yet had the chance to experience. On a cold rainy day (their 3rd date!) at the annual Mechanicville CPKC Christmas train show - he asked her to be his girlfriend in November ‘22! They enjoy going on dates to the movies, traveling, quality time around a good bonfire, and being doggie parents to Meeka, or “the baby cow” as Brian likes to call her. On Christmas Eve 2025 - Brian proposed to Samantha amongst the twinkling lights of the Stillwater Blockhouse Christmas tree park - cementing Christmas traditions as a continued part of their story.
