Renting a venue? In this economy? We have a small place but room for an "open house" party. Feel free to stop by any time between 1 PM to 5 PM. You might not be able to leave room for Jesus, but we'll have a game room, our Cinematheque Putinier, kitchen, a food room, a drink station for all to enjoy. Food and drink: • Come around to 1 PM for a taco bar (tofu and pork options), corn elote, chips and queso from Seoul Taco. • Come around to 3 PM for STL eats: flat pizza (cheese, veggies, and not), toasted ravs, and Italian "house" salad from Imo's; vegan and gluten-free Pizza Head. • Treats (vegan, gluten free, and not) by Pink Door Cookies and alcoholic and non-alcoholic mimosas throughout the afternoon. Parking is available on our street and adjacent streets. It's usually available without any trek. And no, we're not that serious about a dress code.
7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
What happens when a rambunctious yet charming li’l stinker throws the life of an alarmingly handsome academic into chaos? It’s love, of course, in Peter Bogdanovich’s 1972 screwball megahit starring Barbra Streisand and Ryan O’Neal, What’s Up, Doc? It can also result in real-life nuptials to which you are cordially invited to attend! On December 7, Victor Putiner and I will celebrate our first full year of marriage with a screening of what could be the story of us–minus Queen Madeline Kahn. This showing/wedding/anniversary party is free and open to the public, but please, no gifts, except for laughs and maybe even an occasional “aw!” - Josh
