9.30.2018 Seven year anniversary "staycation" in little cottage nestled among redwoods in Soquel, California. Weekend with our two little ladies, Neeko & Nala (see photos) enjoying random outings in Santa Cruz, Pokemon Monopoly, and Netflix. Anniversary dinner at Shadowbrook, Girl had inkling (when did Boy plan a whole weekend...SIX months in advance?) Ate food, nothing happened. Returning to cottage, Girl noticed something wrong. Curtains were drawn and door was locked. Boy jumped fence, found way in. Girl let in, room rearranged. Flowers everywhere. First Neeko runs out, shirt with text "Mommy, will you..." second comes Nala with "marry Daddy? Please?". Boy drops to knee. Camera flashes. Surprise! Maid-of-Honor hiding with her Hubs-to-be.
