Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Under the "travel" tab, click the link that will direct you to our booking website with Destify. There will be a RSVP tab that will ask for your name, email, phone number and total number of guests traveling with you. Please keep in mind that your RSVP is not valid until room deposits ($150 per person) have been made. RSVPs and deposits are due no later than JUNE 11, 2021

Question

How long should I stay?

Answer

We are kindly asking everyone to stay a minimum of three nights from Thursday (3/31/22) to Sunday (4/3/22) to enjoy the wedding festivities for the weekend. Please feel free to stay longer if you wish!

Question

Do I have to stay at the hotel where the wedding is being held?

Answer

We have negotiated the best possible rate for your stay and have blocked a set of rooms to keep our guests together. We understand this is your vacation, so you are welcome to stay wherever you decide. However, the resort charges $350 USD per person for a day pass to be able to attend our wedding. We ask you to consider staying at the Royalton Blue Waters during your stay. Please see the "travel " tab on how to reserve a room.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Since this is an international trip, you do need a valid passport. Passport cards are NOT valid for international air travel to Jamaica. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. Passports normally take 4-6 weeks to process. We suggest applying a minimum of 3 months in advance as a precaution.

Question

What about transportation from the airport to the resort?

Answer

All bookings through our travel agent at Destify will include transportation to and from the Sangster International Airport (MBJ) to the Royalton Blue Waters. Travel time from the airport to the resort is roughly 30 minutes.

Question

Can I use use USD dollars? What’s the currency?

Answer

Yes, many resorts and stores take both USD and Jamaican dollars (JMD), but be sure to prepare your credit and debit cards. Call your bank and let them know the dates you will be gone to avoid accounts being frozen. US dollars are easy to exchange should you wish to take Jamaican dollars with you (cash tips are encouraged but not required).

Question

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

The resort is very kid friendly and offers many activities to keep them engaged and entertained. Check out the resort website to see kid friendly accommodations and activities such as the water park and kids playroom. *Please Note: This is a wedding event, parents use your discretion.

Question

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Beach formal! Dress to impress but also dress for the elements (sun, water and sand). Think about something you’d wear to a nice restaurant on a warm night.
