Nate and Candace met in 2015 when they were both interning for John Deere in Moline, Illinois. They kept in touch from Iowa State and Purdue, and even made trips to see one another. The next summer Nate was back in the Quad Cities and Candace moved to Iowa after graduation. Dinners, drive-ins, and a few months later they started dating. Life was better when Nate moved to the Quad Cities after 5 months of long distance. Fast forward just over 3 years later, Nate proposed in Galena, Illinois at their special place. The day was perfect! They are so ready to continue this journey of life together!
