What's the dress code

Answer

We don't expect anyone to show up in a gown or suit and tie, especially since it's an outdoor wedding... But please dress appropriately.

Are dates welcomed?

Answer

If you have to bring one, I guess you can... geez.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will be no alcohol at the wedding reception. The Gate Cottage is located on a college campus and they prohibit alcohol and smoking on the premises.

Can I just tell you I'm coming to the wedding?

Answer

Please RSVP thru the website. We need an accurate head count of people, plus it would be hard for us to remember verbal answers with all that we have to do.

Do you have any hotel rooms blocked?

Answer

No. We did not go that route but we have links to airbnbs, hotels and bed&breakfast options.

What time should people arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 1 pm but we ask that everyone tries to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to 1 pm, so we can begin the ceremony as on time as possible.

Can we take pictures?

Answer

We ask that during the ceremony, no personal pictures from phones and/or cameras to be taken. Pictures at the reception are welcomed and encouraged but please be considerate of our photographer.

Will food be available?

Answer

There will be a buffet set up at the reception. We will try to begin once introductions are done and everyone gets settled in.
