Fun Things To Do In Montauk
Ditch Plains Beach
Beautiful beach, some of the best surfing in Montauk, and featuring the most popular food truck on the East End called Ditch Witch. Try the Tuna Poke wrap or their coffee and crumb cake in the morning. **Please note: You'll have to taxi here, as it's resident-only parking.**
Hither Hills Beach
Hither Hills Beach is beautiful, perfect spot for a picnic, and by far the quietest of the three beaches in Montauk (while the main town beach in may be easy to get to, it's often crowded and touristy).
Shadmoor State Preserve Trail
Great hiking here! But watch out of for ticks (pack bug spray).
Montauk Lighthouse
Montauk Lighthouse is a beautiful spot to explore, and if you're really ambitious you can watch the most breathtaking sunrise from here. It's all the way at "the end" of Montauk but worth the ride any time of day.
