Question

What is the best way to travel to Gilford, NH?

Answer

The easiest and most cost-effective way for most guests to travel will be to fly into Boston Logan International Airport, and then rent a car to drive the ~1-2 hours up to Hopkinton (welcome party!) and Gilford (ceremony/reception).

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 12, 2025 at the latest!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttles will be available from Gunstock Inn & Suites and from Fireside Inn & Suites to bring everyone to Gunstock Mountain on time. If you wish to drive yourself instead, please arrive to the Gunstock parking lot by 3:30pm to allow time for the leisurely ski-lift to take you to the top of the mountain.

Question

Is there a wedding dress code?

Answer

Yes! For the ceremony and reception, come in "dressy casual/cocktail attire." No jeans, sneakers, or t-shirts please :)

Question

What does "CAMP" mean for the Welcome Party dress code?

Answer

Please come dressed in theme for our welcome party! There are two ways to interpret "Camp" and we are hoping to see some of both - and there WILL be a costume contest!!!! In short: Camp is "slang and it’s fashion, it’s an art and a way of living. It’s everything and it’s nothing." American writer Susan Sontag called camp "a vision of the world in terms of style – but a particular kind of style. It is the love of the exaggerated, the ‘off,’ of things-being-what-they-are-not.” Feel free to browse these two articles for a better idea on what "camp" is: https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/celebrities/2023/08/08/what-does-camp-mean-slang/70392838007/ https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/04/style/met-gala-what-is-camp.html You may choose to interpret the theme as flannels and hiking boots - we can't wait to see whatever you decide to wear!!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation is addressed to you AND your plus one, we hope to see you both there! If not, please understand that we are just a couple of penny-pinching lesbians doing our best to host a wedding that won't clean us out ;)

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

All children under two are invited (keep in mind they must be able to sit on the chairlift to attend the ceremony portion). Otherwise, please only bring your children if they are included on your wedding invite/RSVP. Thanks for understanding!
