Amenities include: There are two playground areas for young children. Nearly one-mile of pathways that weave around and through the site. There are approximately 4.5 acres of open lawns for passive recreation, picnicking and appreciating views of the Hudson Highlands and Hudson River. There are 74 parking spaces.
The trail is suitable for jogging, hiking, biking and walking with strollers, although some sections of the trail are rough. The trail can also be muddy after a heavy rain. First time visitors will want to pick up a copy of Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct trail map and guide [link available] for assistance in navigating some of the trail’s detours.
Coffee Labs, TaSH Farmer's Market, Riverwalk/Bridge Path, Grass Roots Kitchen, Pizza, Bibille Korean, (Not listed in the link is Flying Fingers Yarn Shop, Lefteris Gyros, Healthy Sugar (Crepe Place), etc.) It's a pretty fun street that has many shops.
