Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Our favorite place to take out of towners looking to learn more about the history of music city. Even if you're not a country music fan, this is hands down the best self-guided tour in Nashville.
Radnor Lake State Park
This is where we got engaged! We spent many hours walking these trails during our early months of dating during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Layla's Honky Tonk
Elena's favorite place on Broadway! I recommend getting there early and snagging a seat up front. Have a cold Miller Lite for me while you're there. :-)
Robert's Western World
Dan's favorite spot on Broadway and a local staple. We recommend trying out the "Recession Special": a fried bologna sandwich, chips and a PBR for just $6!
The Fox Bar & Cocktail Club
The coziest spot for one of the best cocktails in town. Dan recommends the 19th Century Manhattan (extra cherries) and Elena recommends the French 75. They also have delicious vegan (and non-vegan) charcuterie boards!
Smith & Lentz Brewing and Pizza
There are many amazing breweries around town and this is one of our favorites. We recommend an IPA and the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza!
Vinyl Tap
We love shopping for vinyls and we love a place with a wide selection of beer. Thank goodness they made a spot down the street from our house with both. :-)
Ryman Auditorium
Take a tour or see a show! The "Mother Church" is the former home of the Grand Ole Opry and one of the most iconic places to see live music in the country.
Chauhan Ale and Masala House
Our go-to spot for Indian food. We recommend the Korma, Moilee, Tikka Masala and Gol Guppa Shots!
Dino's Bar & Grill
Don't be fooled by its appearance - this is one of the spots locals hold dearest to our hearts. East Nashville's oldest dive bar is a perfect spot for late night eats: Burgers, beer, hot chicken, & Frito pies.
Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint Germantown
Our vote for best burger in Nashville! We recommend the Greg Brady + Animal Fries.
Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint
The BEST barbecue in Nashville! Dan recommends the Brisket sandwich and Elena recommends the smoked wings (all flats), and we both highly recommend the mac and cheese.
Urban Cowboy Public House
This is where we had our first date! We showed up matching in black pants and denim jackets. Elena knew she liked Dan when he ordered a tequila drink. :-)
Two Ten Jack
This is probably our most visited restaurant in town. We recommend the Crispy Rice + Spicy Tuna, rock shrimp, crispy brussels, and garlic noodles.
Climb Nashville West
Dan's home away from home (and the place where Elena tries to overcome her fear of heights).
Mickey's Tavern
If you haven't been able to tell right now, we love a dive bar and this is one of our favorites (especially because of the large back patio!).
Mas Tacos Por Favor
We may be starved for good Mexican food in comparison to our home state, but this is where we get our taco fix. Elena recommends the Avocado and Fish tacos, Dan recommends the chicken tacos, and we both highly recommend the tortilla soup & chilaquiles (only available on Saturdays).
Village Pub and Beer Garden
Located halfway between our house and Elena's parents' house, I'm sure you can imagine that we are frequent visitors here. Get some nachos and enjoy the patio!

This place has been a constant for Dan since he first moved to Nashville a decade ago.
