What should I wear?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal. Please dress classy, but comfortable! In the case of inclement weather, our ceremony will be moved inside the chapel, but be prepared for the weather just in case!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue space restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it was specifically indicated on your invitation.

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, we cannot accommodate children with the exception of our flower girls and Lydia.

Question

What does the food/drink situation look like?

Answer

We will be serving grilled chicken, bbq pulled pork, garlic mashed potatoes, lemon rice pilaf, roasted veggies, house salad, and dinner rolls. Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions, please let us know in the RSVP notes, and we will make sure to accommodate you. Cocktails will be served prior to dinner, and we have our own private bar upstairs with alcoholic and nonalcoholic options.

What does parking look like at the ceremony?

Answer

There are two parking lots - one toward the top near The Center and one toward the bottom. Due to emergencies, Wayside kindly requests that all guests park in the LOWER parking lot. The upper parking lot is reserved for emergency vehicles and for the bride and groom. If you're concerned about making the walk, you're more than welcome to be dropped off at the top while your driver goes to park. There is a short walk up a paved path to the courtyard and chapel - there are two wheelchairs available for anyone who needs assistance to the ceremony site. Pick a seat, not a side - we're all family when the knot is tied!

Where can I park at Embers?

Answer

There is a parking lot directly next to Embers that you can park at and street parking available all over downtown Lockport. We highly recommend that you take advantage of the free valet service that Lockport offers on the weekend - they’re really great and are available until 11:00 p.m.!
