My freshman roomie turned bestie! We are beyond obsessed with each other & I couldn’t imagine anyone else standing next to me on the day I marry Dev! We went to elementary school together until she moved & we eventually found our way back to each other our senior year of high school when her sister Alex played on my field hockey team. Nikki shares my love of OT and will graduate from Murphy Deming with her doctorate in occupational therapy in May 2021! She got married in April 2020 to my old teammate from Younglife/bestie Zeke and they live in a Charlottesville!
Jay Haywood

Jeremiah Haywood, my brother from another mother. Jay and I have been neighbors and best friends since we were little. Growing up, there was rarely a day when we were not together. Although Jay currently lives in Texas, we continue to keep up with each other during hour long phone calls and FaceTime dates. He even managed to make a trip up here to surprise me for graduation, which I believe is a true testament to his character and our friendship. Jay and the Haywood family has truly been one of the biggest blessings in my life, and our friendship is one that I will cherish forever, and I cannot wait to stand by him on this day!
CJ Warnick

Caleb and I became quick friends in high school when we played JV soccer together, and best friends when we had sports marketing together the following year. CJ is faithful, energetic, adventurous, and a bit of a knucklehead. He is my go to adventure buddy, as we have been on countless trips together. Fun fact about CJ: when playing soccer together and just kicking around, at least once a session CJ manages to trip over his own feet when shooting the ball. CJ is a lifetime friend, and I am so blessed to have grown together and for him to be there at the start of this next adventure.

Katie girl is one of my favorite people to be around! She radiates joy and loves people like no one else! She is constantly pushing me to Jesus and is someone that I can trust to be there for me in anything. She got married last May and is currently a registered dietitian & living in Richmond with her husband Luke & their two little kittens!

If you've ever been to grad school, you know how hard it can be. This girl is one that will be a friend for life after all that we've been through over the past 2 years! She is passionate, caring, and loves to have a good time just as much as she loves to lay on the couch and watch the bachelor together! I am so blessed to have been able to live with and encourage each other over these past 2 years and I can't to party with her on June 13th!!

Philip and I were friends in middle school up until our school district got split in half. We reconnected in high school and have been best friends ever since. I had the luxury of playing soccer with Philip from JV to Varsity, and we have been on plenty of adventures together. He is one of the most selfless and loving human beings I know, and always knows how to make us laugh. We share a love for photography, soccer, and just about everything else, and I fully expect him to tear it up on the dance floor.

Another grad school bestie, Kate is one of the most gentle and caring people you will ever meet! I have never known someone who shares my love of ice cream as much as this girl. She is one of the most encouraging and loyal friends I have ever known and I am so thankful she will get to stand with me on June 13th!! What a blessing she is!

Jarbi is a true gift of a friend and is constantly pushing me towards the Lord. When we were first introduced to one another, we set up a time to meet at Panera and ending up getting to know each other for hours while we waited out a snowstorm. It was one of those things where you just knew you were going to be great friends. Our friendship has quickly grown over the few years of knowing each other, but I couldn't ask for a better brother in the Lord to be standing by my side on this day.

Before the Newsom's moved in next door I remember praying that whatever family were to move in, that we would become best of friends. Landon (and the entire Newsom family) is truly an answered prayer. Landon and I have have spent countless days hanging out, tearing up the soccer field, and playing video games together. He and his family are a huge reason I follow Jesus, as they were the ones to invite me to church with them and Landon was the first to invite me to YoungLife, before it was even at our school. Facebook has us listed as brothers, and although we may not be blood, he is truly a one of a kind brother and friend!

One of the closest things I have to a sister, Lexi lives in MD with her boo & her sweet Charlie pup!!! When we are together you can guarantee that we are laughing and being crazy. In honor of our yearly lake trips, we love tubing, singing, dancing, & getting sprayed by the weedwacker (lol). We have been inseparable since she was born & I can't wait to have her standing next to me on June 13th!

The Lord laughed when he made us cousins and He knew we would be friends for life. My built in best friend is living her best life down in New Orleans! She is the most creative and cool girl that I know and I want to be like her when I grow up which is probably why I used to copy her all the time when we were little haha. Love you Abigail!

My girl Hannie!! One of my go to gals since living together in the Maid house! She is real, honest, and one of the funniest girls I know. She has an impressive memory & can quote any episode of FRIENDS you could ask for. Hannah is an ER nurse at Augusta Health Hospital & is getting married in July 2021!

Michael Morley

Michael has been such an important figure in my life, and is the only groomsmen to have wiped my bottom. He is the most loving, caring, and crazy brother I could ever ask for, and it wouldn't be a party if Michael wasn't standing up there by my side. Expect him to get crazy low, like all the way to the floor, and be sweating buckets from tearing up the dance floor. CJ and Michael are candidates for "Which Groomsmen Will Cry the Most", but my money is on my brother.

Christian and I go way back to the elementary school soccer and basketball days. We lived together in the Toolbox at JMU and probably shortened our lifespan because of it, but hey, that's college. We also are two out of the three Tools to break the Maid House / ToolBox Dating Curse. Christian is one of those friends that is truly lifelong, as some of my earliest memories include Christian. I'm grateful to have him by my side!
