Cody and Megan met like many modern couples do - on Tinder. They “matched” in May and Megan may have ghosted him until returning in July. They realized how much they have in common and talked nonstop until their first date. After knowing each other for a week, Megan basically told Cody he was her boyfriend. Cody did not have any complaints about this.

Cody and Megan maintained a medium distance relationship while they were both finishing their degrees at different colleges. Cody was attending UW-Parkside and earned his theatre degree in 2019. He continued working at Six Flags and became a full time Events Coordinator! Megan finished her associates at Harper College and went on to earning her teaching degree at UW-Parkside in 2022.

We finally closed the distance and moved into our first home together with our two cats, Archie and Wally.

On July 23, 2022, Cody hatched a devious plan - to propose to Megan! He gathered all of their closest friends to Kylee’s house under the guise of a boat day. Kylee and her boyfriend, Brandon, used Megan’s niceness against her and trapped her in small talk so Cody could get ready. Megan didn’t see it coming at all! I’m sure you can guess what her answer was.

After almost a decade of being together, we are starting our journey as husband and wife.
