Summer Rose's perspective: November 2017 there was a Chi Omega Barn Dance Date Party that I did NOT want to go to because #1 I was stressed out with school and #2 (most importantly) I didn't have a date... However, my friend and Chi O sister was begging me to go, so the night before the dance I made a deal: if she found me a date before the next day, I would give in to going as I thought "there is no way she's finding me a date before tomorrow". Welp, she made a phone call and about 15 minutes later she said, "You have a date. His name is Cole." Cole's perspective: I got a random phone call from a buddy of mine asking "You doing anything tomorrow night?" I said, "No not really. I don't have any plans". Then all of the sudden I was roped into going on a date to a sorority dance party with a girl I never met, but I thought "why not?" and so I went. It was just for one night, right?! Fast forward: After that night we seriously thought we would never see each other again, but wow does the Lord work in mysterious ways because three years later around the same time we met on that blind date, Cole pulled a ring out of his boot and we got engaged.

We have loved each other through many ups, downs, and distances. With every obstacle we have overcome together, our love has grown stronger. We know there are plenty more struggles to come, but with God, our family, and our friends by our side, we know our love story will only get better and better with every page turn.
