Jesse had known of Alexis through their mutual friend, Aaron. It all started where they thought they could have us "casually" run into each other. Those plans never really came to fruition. Some time passes and Jesse receives a random friend request from Alexis on Facebook, he immediately shares with Aaron what had happened. That then steers Aaron to texting Alexis asking how she knows Jesse but funny thing is she didn't. She just thought he was an attractive man who came across her page. At the time she thought there was no way he would be interested too. Jesse and Alexis right before this time had both given up dating but after talking with Aaron and hearing we both were interested she decided to give it a shot and shoot Jesse a Facebook message. It all started with "Hi :)". A few days later they had their first date at Charlestown State Park, followed with Pizza at Charlestown Pizza company, Christmas lights in the square, and a final stop to meet Jack. After an 8 hour date and finding how similar their views and hopes for life were they both knew there was no one else they wanted to occupy their time with. A little less than a year into their relationship Jesse flips one side of a duplex while they also open up a salon for Alexis. A month later they have a road trip out west not knowing that when we get home Jesse will be diagnosed with Vestibular Schwanoma / Acoustic Neuroma which leads to a tumor removed during brain surgery in January of 2020. A few months of healing goes by and Alexis almost loses her father the same week the world shuts down due to a pandemic. They realized after a series of unfortunate events that there's no way either of them will let the other go through anything in life alone. December of 2020 they spend an evening replaying their first date in Charlestown, IN where Jesse proposes under the Christmas lights. A year 1/2 later they share their wedding day on Jesse's dad and step mom's property with all of their close friends and family.
