Swall Meadows is located at 6,559ft elevation, 20 miles north of our home of Bishop and 25 miles south of Mammoth Lakes. Both Bishop and Mammoth Lakes have a number of lodging options. We recommend booking any Air BnB options soon as they are limited and will fill up. For hotels, we are working on booking a block at the Eastside Guesthouse (see below). We will be in touch as the plan falls into place. If you prefer to camp, Bishop is home to many established campsites and surrounded by public land where you can camp for free. If you would like help choosing a campsite, please be in touch!

Travel Note

The Venue

The venue is a large house and surrounding property in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. There is ample street parking on the otherwise unoccupied cul-de-sac, but carpooling is encouraged. The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors with space to move indoors as the night progresses.

Shuttle

Shuttle between Bishop and Swall Meadows Venue

May 30, 2026 1:45 pm - 10:00 pm

The day of the wedding, we will provide a limited shuttle from Bishop to the venue in Swall Meadows and back for those who need it. The shuttle will leave Bishp at 1:45pm and will run from Swall Meadows back to Bishop at 10pm. Please RSVP for the shuttle by contacting us directly if you would like to utilize this service!

Flight

Bishop Airport

The closest airport to us is Bishop Airport. This small airport flies directly to Denver, CO and San Francisco, CA. Airports in Los Angeles, Reno, and Las Vegas are all about 3.5-4 hours drive from Bishop.
