Chris (club cycling president) emailed the club triathlon team to inquire if they'd like to co-host a Halloween costume bike ride. Summer (club triathlon president) responded! They became friends, went on their first date ~1 year after that infamous email, became an official item in May 2018, and have been dating ever since!

Without Summer knowing, Chris managed to re-set his great grandmother's diamond and bring the engagement ring on their trip to Zion National Park.
