"I met Zeke at church while we were both at the U of A, and our paths crossed a few times but we didn't know each other well. I moved away for a bit after graduation & ended up moving back to Arkansas, and I truly had no idea what was coming my way. Zeke reached out to me out of the blue, wanting to talk about my experience moving across the country since he was planning on moving himself (little did I know, he had different motives). After first asking me to be his date to a wedding, Zeke finally worked up the courage to ask me on a date date, and the rest was history. I am so thankful that we decided to take the chance (even with the knowledge that he was supposed to move to NC at the time). I love looking back and seeing the moments where we crossed paths back in college - God's timing is sometimes unexpected, but always perfect. I can't wait to marry my best friend & the person I have always prayed for!" -Summer
We met at church in college, and Summer was the pretty girl that sang on stage every week. We had mutual friends and would hang out in groups but were never really close. Summer graduated a year early and moved to Florida, but came back in February. When she came back, I was already planning on moving to North Carolina in July, but had the inclination to ask her on a date before I moved. I started with just talking in the church lobby after the service one day about her experience moving across the country, and after that knew a date needed to happen. So I conveniently had more questions about moving across the country the next week, and that's how we got to going on the first date. Looking back, I'm so thankful that God gave me the urge to ask Summer on a date, and the girl of everyone's dreams agreed to going on a second date, knowing I was still moving to NC. I'm even more thankful that she agreed to go on dates for the rest of our lives and I will always get to watch her singing on stage at church, as my wife.
