The Baileys

Weston messaged Summer on Facebook around 2012. Through the years, there was the occasional text message or phone call, but the real story began 2 years later at a Luke Bryan concert. This is where they officially met in person for the first time. Fast forward a couple months, they met up again at a Florida Georgia Line concert. Shortly after, the two brought in the New Year together. Weston asked Summer to be his girlfriend in her front yard on February 5, 2014 …and the rest is history!

Weston knew he had to execute a PERFECT plan in order for Summer to not sense the oncoming proposal. The plan began with his Aunt texting the family with a fake storyline of tickets she had won to a light show at Brookgreen Gardens. She claimed she could not attend and wanted to offer the tickets to the rest of the family. Summer & Lauren — always looking for an aesthetically pleasing date night — jumped on the idea and convinced their boys to go. After walking in the gates of Brookgreen, Weston wasted no more than 3 minutes before getting down on one knee and asking Summer to marry him. The night continued in Murrells Inlet where the couple surprised their friends with the news. It was the most perfect night surrounded by the most perfect people.
