Summer and Trevor met in the most romantic way any modern-day couple could... On the internet. Caught up in a tangled web of bad dates and failed attempts at online romance, Trevor and Summer managed to beat the odds and buzz into each others lives via a dating app called Bumble. Summer complimented Trevor's bountiful beard, and he quickly asked her out on a date where they would soon enjoy the finest of Oysters at a place called Mess Hall in Los Feliz (they have a great deal on Oysters.) And the rest was history!

On a weekend trip to Paso Robles, Trevor planned to take Summer to a castle-turned winery called "Tooth and Nail" (clearly chosen because of the romantic sounding name.) He had asked the staff to set up a corner in the back with some wine and cheese before their arrival, but as luck would have it, another big event was happening at the winery that day. A couple was getting married! So the staff forgot his request and nearly plundered Trevor's big plans. This "romantic corner" was surrounded by noisy event planners and large equipment being lugged around. So Trevor quickly came up with another plan. "Let's go outside! It's much quieter out there," he said. So they headed out to a deck where the peace & tranquility would surely serve as a much more romantic backdrop. Unfortunately, the wind was gusting stronger than ever and Summer was upset that her hair was getting in her wine. She doesn't like wasting wine. So he suggested they go down INTO the vineyard where the wind wouldn't be as strong. "But there are RATTLESNAKES in the vineyards!" Summer warned, as she had just overheard two saucy women talking about this at another winery. "Trust me, we'll be fine. It'll be WORTH it," Trevor pleaded. "No" turned into "fiiiine..." after a few more attempts to change her mind. They walked through the grape-vine lined dirt path, toward a large oak tree where Trevor stopped and turned toward Summer to give her a kiss. The rest was a blur after that. Trevor got down on his knee, said some unbelievably romantic things, and Summer forgot to say "yes" because she was too overwhelmed and excited to think straight. Before they could wipe the tears away, an older couple walked up the deserted path toward them. Having no idea what just happened, the couple asked if they wanted a picture. After capturing this beautiful moment for them, Trevor told the couple what had just happened, and they responded "No kidding! This is actually our anniversary! It must be fate!" And it really was....
