What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire or Black-Tie Optional - We recommend suits with black neckties or bowties, dress pants, collared, or button up shirts for males. Floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses. We request that women stay away from the color white (reserved for the bride), and navy blue (reserved for wedding party.)

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We want to be present with you on our special day. That's why we ask you to please strictly keep your phones and cameras turned off during the ceremony. Two photographers are covering the ceremony and we will happily share the photos and videos that are captured with you!

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Appetizers: Cheese/Fruit/Veggie platters, Chicken & Shrimp Skewers. Dinner Entrees: Apricot Glazed Chicken, Prime Rib, Grilled Portobellos. (Vegan friendly) Sides: Ceasar salad, Green beans, Mashed potatoes, French bread. Drinks: Water, Lemonade, Iced Tea, Beer, Truly's.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The provided venue location will host all events, which is both indoor and outdoor. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will take place outside, with dining inside. As June weather is unpredictable in Oregon, it never hurts to have a sweater or umbrella handy!

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Postlewait’s does have a sizable, complimentary parking lot. Handicap accessible parking spaces are provided at the posted areas adjacent to the ADA sidewalks. Parking is not permitted on the main road.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we ask that anyone outside our immediate family keep this event as an adult-only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening! We appreciate you making arrangements for your little ones ahead of time and making time to celebrate with us!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes there is an open bar available for our guests. There will be a 2-hour cocktail hour available for our guests to purchase mixed drinks.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list in order to stay on budget. Our wedding list is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 3pm for cocktails and appetizers, before the 4pm ceremony starts!

Where's the best place to stay near the venue?

Answer

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation is completely up to our guests. Both Uber and Lyft are available in the area for any assistance!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

May 10th, 2022!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! Though being that this is a "destination wedding" to most our loved ones, we are more than understanding of anyones absence. Please let us know as soon as you can and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.
