I ordered my free people dress and received it March 5th

It fits!

Me being the against the grain person I am, of course I’m having my wedding dress custom ice dyed!

These are the swatches the artist sent me from Pennsylvania to make sure we get my vision right.

Of course I looked up my hair inspo right away

Makeup inspo: glowy skin, fluffy brows, glossy lips

There must be dainty flowers in my hair!

Brown Smokey eyes with lashes! Jeremy doesn’t like a lot of makeup and I haven’t been liking a lot on myself anymore also so this was a good balance.

Nail inspo. I wonder which one I’ll pick 😬

Me and my cutie went to a junk sale and made our first purchase for our future place together. Of course we had to get it!

I wanted doc martens but let’s be real, we are planning this in less than 3 months so these knock offs will do.

We searched everywhere for a jacket for Jeremy. 3 problems: 1. Nothing fit his arms 2. Everything was out of budget 3. No one had brown Until we found the one on the right 🙌🏼

I told Jeremy I didn’t want a ring. I know, I know lol but he said he wanted to get me SOMETHING so this day we had a local artist start customizing one for me 🥰

The middle and the circled stone is what we picked out!

Artist sent me a pic of the setting 😍 when it’s done it’ll be all copper!

Did a boudoir shoot for my man (and me!) with Captured by Aleena and I must say that ya girl still got it 😝

New glasses for the wedding! Semi funny story: my ex picked out my glasses 9-10 years ago and I just didn’t really want to have anything tied to him on my wedding day 😆

Elopement announcement printed for the flat lay photos with the rest of the wedding day details.

Found a future reception dress I love! I haven’t ordered it yet but it’s a goal.

Elopement picnic blanket ordered.

Elopement picnic pillows all purchased! This is the only one I have pics of I think but there is 6!

I went to get an idea for my flowers. I am definitely gonna mix fresh, faux and dried flowers together to create my bouquet.

TRYING, key word trying…to plan a Bach get together with a few friends and plans just keep falling through. Still pending something to do!

My dress is finished and this is a STORY! The material did not take the dye well and did not come out how I had hoped.

My artist redid this challenging piece for me and tried a few other ideas to work with it. This process took a bit and I was scared it may not turn out again and I would be left with no dress at all.

I made a dress try on appt at a bridal shop (knowing I probably wouldn’t be able to afford it) & re ordered this same dress in white, just to have a back up. Well my dye artist pulled it off! 🤪

Went to hobby lobby and got faux and dried flowers for my bouquet and Jeremy’s boutonnière

I will be also mixing fresh flowers in there as well!

I made my own wedding earrings

And necklace!

I got a spray tan and went to try on dresses for my Bach get together

I DIYed this cowboy hat for our cowgirl theme

Same D for eternity

My friends really made it special

We also went to OG rocks and made rings and brought our own sushi

This was harder than it looks!

And of course I got a second dress. I had to!

I order this Renaissance belt to wear with it to make it more my style
