Alyssa Lanier
Maid of Honor
Alyssa is a beautiful soul and Summer is so proud to call her maid of honor! She is a dedicated hard worker and can do anything she sets her mind to. She is currently an 8th grade science teacher, and is the color guard instructor for Berne Union’s marching band. She also is a talented singer and song writer. She loves her dogs Peaches and Dobby, playing Mario video games, doing yoga and eating custard. She is also engaged and planning her wedding for November with her fiancé Luke. It has been fun for Alyssa and Summer to plan their special days together. Summer and Alyssa have been friends since they were 12 years old. They met in 2nd grade at Berne Union. However they did not get along as second graders. This is a hilarious story. One day in 2nd grade Summer and Alyssa were on the playground. Summer was wearing a black sweater. Alyssa came up to her and said “You know if you wear black that means youre Satan’s child right?” Needless to say: things are better between them now. Summer and Alyssa have truly been inseparable. Since becoming friends at the age of 12, they have shared so many incredible memories. From as young teens performing together at talent shows, wearing elaborate matching outfits to school together everyday, going on trips together, having sleepovers so often it was like being sisters… it’s all truly been a blessing to have one another. Summer is so happy to have her special best friend by her side on this day.
Hannah Hettinger
Matron of Honor
Hannah is a beautiful, quick witted, kind hearted and hard working woman. She has a beautiful family with her loving husband Andrew. They have two wonderful boys named Henry and Frankie. She leads a busy and fun lifestyle raising her children and running her businesses. Hannah is a sourdough baking queen and a florist. On top of that, she has a farm. If she doesn’t sound busy enough: Hannah has had to be on Summer’s speed dial for literally every wedding planning question that exists. That is a job in itself. Hannah is Ben’s sister. As soon as Hannah and Summer met they had an instant bond. Over the years they have become extremely close friends. They are as close as if they are real sisters, and Summer feels extremely lucky to have a sister in law like her. They’ve enjoyed going to yoga classes together at their favorite yoga studio. They even tried CrossFit once, which lasted two classes. Hannah helped Summer to come into her Christian faith which has deepened their relationship in such a profound way. Summer can’t wait to be Hannah’s sister officially and forever !
Brittney Hunter
Bridesmaid
Brittney is a hilarious and down to earth girl and she is impossible not to love. She is in a loving relationship with the bride’s brother Nick. Together they have two cat children of their own: Moomoo and Meadow. Brittney is an incredible artist and creates beautiful paintings-she has so many people who would love to buy her art! She loves to do nails, makeup, and spend time with Nick and friends. The most beloved quality of Brittney of Summer’s is her sarcasm and quick wit. Don’t let Brittney’s cute appearance fool you! She can be cruel. Summer is so grateful that her brother found a lady as wonderful as Brittney. It is wonderful to have another sister in her life. And especially someone who is so kind, loyal and loving. In difficult times Brittney has been there, and in fun lighthearted times as well. Summer is so happy she will have Brittney by her side on this special day!
Rebecca Holycross

Rebecca is married to Summer’s brother Aaron. She is a massage therapist, nature lover and mother of 3. She loves her pets and her family. She is an exceedingly kind person and treats every person she knows with patience and love. She radiates warmth and positivity! Summer and Rebecca have been through so much together. They’ve known each other for a decade and are truly sisters. Summer pulled inspiration from Rebecca’s career as a massage therapist and it encouraged her to pursue it as her own career. They share the mutual passion of massage therapy, natural healing and nature. Summer and Becca love to hike together and marvel at the wonders of the forest. Whenever Summer is done spending time with Rebecca, she always feels more uplifted and at peace. Summer loves Becca so much and is so happy she is going to be there on this special day.

Summer and Paige are inseparable. Being Aunt Summer to her niece Paige is the biggest blessing. Paige is the funniest little girl in the world. She is beautiful and full of light. She loves going to the arcade, playing video games with her brother Levi, spending time with her sister Morgan, going to church school, and of course spending time with Aunt Summer and Uncle Ben
AJ Johnson

AJ Johsnon is a very outgoing and funny guy. Within minutes of talking to him, he could have you rolling on the floor in laughter. AJ lives with his wife Tram, two dogs, and a cat. AJ loves taking care of his pets and playing video games. Him and Ben have been friends since high school and always find a way to have fun. Ben is honored to have AJ as Co-Best Man.
Adam Elder

Adam Elder is a sharp witted and intellectual type, but with a good sense of humor. He and his wife Kelsey are parents to their beautiful daughter Sophie, and of course to their Golden Retriever Linus. Adam enjoys watching racing and Basketball, writing, and playing video games. Him and Ben have so much in common and Ben is honored to have Adam as a Co-Best Man
Mitchell Cassley
Groomsman
Mitch Cassley is a hardworking and nice guy. He lives with his wife Heather and their three kids Hunter, Liam, and Emma. Mitch is a huge sports fan primarily football and basketball, a self proclaimed Cleveland Cavaliers loyalist. Mitch and Ben love to talk sports and politics and have been friends since high school. It is an honor for Ben to have Mitch as a groomsman.
Seth Carpenter

Seth Carpenter may come off as a tough guy, but deep down he would give the shirt off his back if needed. He's got a big personality and a great sense of humor. Seth enjoys wildlife, throwing darts, or just watching some football with friends. Ben and Seth have known each other since high school. It's an honor for Ben to have Seth as a groomsman.
Joey Coe

Joey Coe would be considered one of Ben's more reserved friends. While more laid back than the others, Joe is still a fun loving great guy. He's always excited to hang out and is up for any adventure. Joey enjoys taking care of his cat, going to concerts, and playing video games. Joe and Ben have been friends since high school, and even lived together once (there is a funny story about that). Ben is honored to have Joey as a groomsman.
Mack White

Mack White is a loveable guy with a big heart. He's quick to lend a helping hand or word of encouragement and constantly looks for the good in people. He enjoys firearms, wether in a hunting setting or just shooting at a range. Mack and Ben met in high school and have been friends ever since. Ben is honored to have Mack as a groomsman.

Andrew Hettinger is Ben's Brother In Law but also a close friend. He is hardworking, relaxed, and very generous. Andrew owns and operates his own Machine Shop and is married to Hannah (Ben's sister), and they have two healthy sons Henry and Francis. Andrew is a total gearhead, and also enjoys playing and watching basketball. Ben is honored for Andrew to be a groomsman.
