Ashton gave summer a note to introduce himself and ask her on a date in the ysa hallway. Summer had a mission call to Chicago at the time. This was a photo from her missionary farewell 2022

Ashton knew Chicago would be cold so he gave her a hand warmer so he could warm her hands while she was away!

Ashton and Summer wrote her whole mission, never missed a P-day. They sent eachother paintings and pressed flowers & leaves. They built their relationship on sharing the gospel and the love of Jesus!

When they made it offical while summer was still gone on her misssion 2023. Summer said "lets rip this bandaid off" and ashton said "wow youre such a romantic!"
