Being from New England, we are thrilled to share local activities in the White Mountains! Home to breathtaking foliage, scenic views, and childhood memories at Story Land we invite you to spend time exploring the area and enjoy the magic for yourselves.

Enjoy the start of New England fall foliage with a scenic railway ride through the White Mountains. All trains depart from an 1874 train station in North Conway Village!

Conway Scenic Railroad

The Flume is a natural gorge with walls of granite. There is a 2-mile self-guided nature walk through the Flume Gorge where you can see waterfalls, beautiful views, and covered bridges.
Note: there are a lot of stairs so please take proper precautions.

Take a drive up the Northeast's tallest peak, Mt. Washington! We took a trip here in August 2022 and experienced some of Mt. Washington's famous, "Worst Weather in the World" on the Cog Railway.

The Auto Road offers self and guided tours.
