San Daniele del Friuli, also known as the "prosciutto capital of Italy", is a charming hilltop town in northern Italy. We would recommend you to tour local prosciutto producers, enjoy tastings, and explore the town’s quaint streets, beautiful churches, and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside (the picture above is San Daniele!).
Udine is the main city in the area, and is only 30 minutes away from the venue by car. Here are some places you could visit: Piazza Libertà & Loggia del Lionello The heart of Udine, often called "the most beautiful Venetian square on the mainland." A lovely spot for a stroll and coffee. Udine Castle (Castello di Udine) Offers panoramic views over the city and houses civic museums of art and archaeology. Via Mercatovecchio A charming street with boutiques, cafés, and local shops, great for wandering and people-watching. Museo Diocesano e Gallerie del Tiepolo Beautiful frescoes by Tiepolo and a quiet, elegant museum for art lovers. Piazza San Giacomo A lively square full of bars and restaurants, perfect for aperitivo.
