Passport, passport, passport!

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival in Thailand. If it expires on or before May 2027, please renew it as soon as possible, as processing can take several weeks. See the link to the U.S. Department of State for renewal details.

Arrival in Thailand

We recommend arriving in Thailand between October 30 and November 2, the weekend before our wedding. This allows time to adjust to the time difference, settle in comfortably, and explore before wedding festivities begin.

We recommend downloading the Grab app, Thailand’s version of Uber, for convenient and transparent pricing.

Digital Arrival Card

All travelers to Thailand are required to complete a Digital Arrival Card at least three days before arrival. This process is quick and helps speed up entry at the airport. Be sure to have your passport and travel details handy when filling it out. *Be aware of scams offering to complete the Digital Arrival Card for a fee. This is a free form and can be completed directly through the official link provided.

Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit

The Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit offers a comfortable, convenient home base for both first-time visitors and seasoned travelers. Centrally located on Sukhumvit, it provides easy access to Bangkok’s BTS skytrain, right outside the property. Many members of the wedding party will also be staying here.

Flight

Traveling from Bangkok to Chiang Mai

Flights from Bangkok to Chiang Mai are plentiful, with several regional airlines offering service. The flight takes less than 90 minutes and is typically quite affordable. To attend all wedding-related events, guests should plan to arrive in Chiang Mai no later than midday on Thursday, November 5th.
