Little did we know, a random Tuesday in May of 2015 would turn into a forever kind of love! Two strangers that quickly became inseparable. As most of you know, Matthew has played hockey since he was a little boy. It really was his first true love. That is until Morgan came into the picture. The day they met, Matthew was actually missing his "flipper", (the infamous retainer that filled his missing front tooth!) Surprisingly, that didn't stop the two from hitting it off. It's actually what caught Morgan's attention to Matthew instantaneously! They quickly went from strangers to best friends, to boyfriend and girlfriend, in the Summer of 2015. Matthew went off to Wisconsin to go play college hockey at Lawrence University and Morgan attended her freshman year at Florida Gulf Coast University. The two did long distance for some time, until Matthew decided to make his way back to Southwest Florida! No longer having to travel back and forth to see one another, they decided they would add some chaos into their already hectic lives! So, the two secretly adopted a dog together! Marley, the perfect pitty. She instantly became the center of their lives. Marley truly completes these two. They always say, "it is the best decision they have ever made". After dating for over four years, the two graduated from FGCU and moved in together! Both kicked off their careers and began building a life they love together. Just shy of 7 years of dating, Matthew FINALLY popped the BIG question on 04/30/22 on Marco Island Beach. A destination that has so much meaning to Morgan... and a day we ALL had been waiting for! Although Morgan's sister Samantha made the introduction that day, all it took was for these two to be in the same room and sparks flew instantly. There truly was a connection like no other! Needless to say you can't stop love, especially a love like theirs!
